As a result we have decided to produce some of the videos ourselves in the future. It will take some time though - please don’t be waiting them in the next month already or the month after. They are coming at some point in the future.

2) MEDICINE BALL EXERCISES – GUARANTEED WAY TO ADD POWER TO YOUR VOLLEYBALL SPIKE

Medicine ball training is probably the best way to add power to your volleyball spike. Medicine ball exercises allow athletes to do sports specific training. You do spike specific movements which work out your abs and back muscles that are in important role to add strength on your spike.

3) VOLLEYBALL DRILLS – ONE WAY TO BUILD UNITY AND TEAMWORK

We have talked a lot about conditioning because it is the crucial part of training for athletes who aim to the top. And not just for them, it is important to any players who want to keep themselves injury free. There is an unwritten rule that players who take care of their physique are less likely to get injured.

I wanted to share something with you about the topic we discussed with couple of coaches after the volleyball match recently. So you’ll get our first volleyball game related tip – we know some of you have been waiting for this!

Very often teams pay no attention to one important offensive method, which teams in the top level are using very effectively. It is “to swing the ball to the block with a purpose to cover it up.”

In this scheme an offensive player intends to swing the ball to the block (if chances to get a kill are small) and covering defenders will play the ball to the setter to build a better opportunity to swing a point for the team.
