1) Once again: Training volleyball techniques is important!

I recently read a story a about professional football (soccer for US people) club in which training is very organized and professional for the 12 year old kids already.

The purpose of the younger level club teams is to feed players to the adult’s high level professional team. The article brought up how the main purpose of the kids training was to practice the technical skills.

That article was a motivation to write once again about the importance of the technical skills, especially if the goal is to reach the top level.

2) Volleyball techniques – controversial passing technique

This article brings up one volleyball technique which seems not to make any sense first, but surely is widely used volleyball technique by the best volleyball players in the world.

4) Mindset of Successful Coaches & Training “Odd Volleyball Techniques”

Volleyball strategies and techniques differ and it could be hard to find common ground between coaches. Most of us have probably experienced club coach teaching different things than high school coach. They all seem to have their own ideas how to play volleyball.

It is important for coaches and players to have an open mind for new techniques and playing strategies. Therefore we wrote an article about the mindset of a successful coach. A common denominator for the successful coaches is they all have the desire to learn new. They’ll never stop learning.

To read why having an open mind and training for example previous passing technique would be a good idea, click the link below or copy and paste it into your browser.
